Sadguru Sri Madhusudan Sai Self-Realisation is My Religion
Sadguru Sri Madhusudan Sai brahmavid brahmaiva bhavati
The Knower of the Brahman becomes the Brahman
Sadguru Sri Madhusudan Sai is leading the mission of spirituality and service at Sathya Sai Grama, that was started by a set of dedicated volunteers under the direct guidance of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, almost four decades ago.
Walking in the footsteps of Baba, Sri Madhusudan Sai is furthering Baba’s mission by establishing various humanitarian service projects across 30 countries apart from several institutions of public service in the field of nutrition, education and healthcare in India, all free of charges to the needy. Several spiritual centres across the globe now guide humanity on the path of oneness, towards the highest Advaitic realisation of one supreme truth, one united world and one global family.
Three super specialty paediatric cardiac care hospitals, 24 values-based educational campuses in South India, including a university, and a morning nutrition programme which nourishes over 500,000 school-going children every single day, have been established to offer services absolutely free of cost to children from needy and impoverished backgrounds. Over 100,000 little hearts have been mended at the temples of healing and 5,000 rural children have been empowered with values-based integral education at the temples of learning, and 12 Centres of Human Development in 12 countries have been established to carry out spiritual and service activities across the world, all deeply rooted in Baba’s teaching, Love All Serve All.
Baba who is well-known as a humanitarian to the world, a philanthropist to agnostics, a spiritual Guru to millions, and revered by many as a divine soul from India, established a spiritual universe and put it on the world’s consciousness. His life’s work, especially for the underprivileged through His initiatives across education, healthcare, drinking water, nutrition and rural development has benefited millions across the world. Baba constantly reminded everyone that service to others will ultimately help them inch closer their true divine selves. Though He shed His mortal coil in April 2011, He continues this glorious mission of awakening the Divinity latent in all of mankind, through the instrumentation of Sri Madhusudan Sai. The magnitude of the service projects executed is expanding at an inexorable pace.
The serendipitous life of Sadguru Sri Madhusudan Sai, is a perfect example of how man can transcend the limitations of individual existence to embrace a life of higher universal consciousness, through surrender to one’s Guru.
The prema paramparā of Sai continues…
Deeply rooted in the idea of Advaita, Sri Madhusudan Sai believes that the world needs self-realised individuals, more than anything else. For Him, self-realisation is not something which happens after leaving the mortal coil, but rather, it is very natural and totally possible, here and now. His devotion and selfless service to humanity is to prepare more men and women with spiritual character, who will not be swayed away by the vagaries of life, but rather be firm in their conviction of their own spiritual existence.
With the ultimate experience of the transcendental truth, an individual sees the oneness in all creation, and hence it is natural to love and serve all without any distinction. Thus, service finds its foundation in spirituality, and spirituality finds its fulfilment in service.
Love – Service – Spirituality
‘I am God, all is God’, is the simplest way the highest vedantic truth can be put. To make this idea a living experiential reality for all mankind, is his way of doing his duty towards the greatest seers of ancient India and world over, who taught the oneness of all existence.
Sadguru Sri Madhusudan Sai is on a global mission of teaching this supreme truth to humanity. He passionately and emphatically propagates and encourages everyone, young and old, to constantly meditate upon the four words, “ahaṁ brahmā, sarvaṁ brahmā”, for the ultimate truth to reveal itself, and be firmly established in all.
Sri Sathya Sai Baba is adored and followed by millions of His devotees and disciples, around the world. A spiritual master who lived as a paragon of love apropos to the divine nature, beyond the comprehension of one’s logical mind, and superior to the experience of one’s senses, Baba was born on November 23, 1926 at Puttaparthi, a small, pastoral village in South Indian State of Andhra Pradesh. His message of ‘Love All- Serve All’ and ‘Help Ever-Hurt Never’ formed the basis for all the philanthropic work in the fields of Healthcare, Education and Nutrition. He showered Prema (Love), sought Prema, and established Prema in the heart of the individual, the fabric of society and the complex of nations.
Baba elaborated on the path of love (bhakti), of selfless activity (karma), of mastery over the mind (raja yoga), and of sublimation of Consciousness (jnana). He propounded about the rights and responsibilities of the individual and society, and revealed that they have the one underlying purpose of spiritual fulfillment.
Sathya (truth), Dharma (righteousness, code of duties, essential nature of a being or thing), Shanthi (peace) and Ahimsa (non-violence) are the Four Pillars of Baba’s simple yet effective teachings on life and spirituality. He reminded everyone that Prema (love) was the undercurrent of all the Four Pillars. His mission of touching and transforming individuals and societies through acts of selfless love and service still lives on.
The Institute of Human Values is an important milestone of the Sri Sathya Sai University for Human Excellence to offer human values courses catering to different fields of social relevance, in an online learning platform, absolutely free of cost, with the aim to transform humans into better humans and help them serve their personal and professional spheres with a human touch. The varied courses are open to all around the world and serve as guides on the path of a transformative journey, where the changes that are effected inside oneself will help transform the world outside.
It is said that, when one understands even a little of the Bhagavad Gita and puts it into practice in his life, he will not be troubled by the sufferings of this world or the fear of death.
Bhakti Yoga, the 12th chapter of the Bhagavad Gita is a nectarine compendium of the highest form of devotion towards God, unsullied by the slightest desires of the materialistic world. The more one contemplates on it, the more does it plunge one into the intoxication of true divine love.
Enjoy listening, contemplating, and internalising the messages to implement it in your lives!

Introduction to Para Vidya and Kaṭhopaniṣad
‘utiṣṭhata jagrata prāpya varān nibodhata’ exclaims the Upaniṣads. This means, ‘Arise, Awake and Stop Not until the Goal is reached".
As the golden age is heralded in, the three magical mantras that stand to guide us in this most unique of times are: purpose, presence and relevance. Our purpose is to realise who we are, our presence is to be present in our own divinity at all times and thereby remain relevant to everyone in society. At this phenomenal phase of the cleansing of the consciousness of humanity, realisation of our own divinity stands clearly as the single goal of life. Remaining grounded in this knowledge through all of life's challenges and tribulations, is the most important endeavour. We were never the timid sheep that we had always believed ourselves to be, but rather; we are the majestic, fearless lions of eternal wisdom, of unconquerable potential, of unsullied joy and impeccable purity, that comes forth of the experience of divinity, which in essence is ‘Satyam, Jñānam, Anantam’.
This is the truth proclaimed by the upaniṣads and the time has come to celebrate our divinity and recognise our oneness with all. Kaṭhopaniṣad is one of the exponents of this truth and it delves deep into the mysteries and secrets of life. The year of 2020 that was characterised by trouble, strife, and adversity was transformed into an opportunity of bestowing the highest wisdom by Beloved Sadguru Sri Madhusudan Sai. This could have been the most opportune time, when the world slowed down, when the minds understood the temporariness of all the material possessions that we so dearly owned, when the souls were searching for recourse to peace and permanence.
Sri Madhusudan Sai, through His classes on the Kaṭhopaniṣad, exhorted one and all to rise above one’s false self and remain fixed in the awareness of one’s own divinity. His simple yet profound explanations and unique perspectives opened the vistas of limited thinking, shook the feeble roots of false beliefs, and stirred the soul with an innate understanding that was irrefutable.
Never before in the history of mankind, have these truths been revealed to so many by such a One. With deep gratitude and love we bring to you the Kaṭhopaniṣad video series, taught by Sadguru Sri Madhusudan Sai.
Before starting the Kathopanisad video series, the youtube link to Introduction to Para Vidya and Kaṭhopaniṣad has to be given above it.
